A Story of Resilience

Coco Looking up at Camera
Coco is one of Fields of Freedom’s longest rescue dogs, currently in rescue for 15 months.

Before finding safety with Fields of Freedom Dog Rescue, Coco’s world was limited to the length of a chain, with another dog that was close but always out of reach.

This early experience left her with some uncertainty around other dogs and animals, but it hasn’t dampened her incredible spirit or her ability to love. In fact, watching her blossom through training has been a huge blessing.

Love for Her Humans

Coco has a strong love for her human companions!

If there’s one thing Coco has in spades, it’s love for people! She’s the kind of dog who lights up when her favorite humans enter the room, always ready with a gentle greeting and those soulful eyes that seem to say “thank you for being here.”

Her sweet nature shines through in every interaction, making it impossible not to fall in love with her. Her maturity is just one of the reasons we recommend adopting a rescue dog instead of buying a puppy.

What makes Coco truly special is how she finds joy in life’s simple things. A warm bed, regular meals, and gentle scratches behind the ears are enough to make her day complete. She approaches each day with gratitude, reminding us all to appreciate life’s simple pleasures.

Training and Growth

While Coco may need to be the only dog in your home, she’s very eager to please!

While Coco’s past means she needs to be the only pet in her future home, don’t let that fool you – she’s made incredible progress in her training! Every day brings new achievements, and she tackles each new learning opportunity with enthusiasm. Her willingness to trust and learn shows just how resilient and adaptable she is.

The Perfect Match

Coco is looking for someone special – a person or family who can see the diamond in the rough and cherish her for exactly who she is. She doesn’t need a perfect home, just one filled with patience, understanding, and lots of love.

She’s an active dog, so if you have plenty of room for her to run, that’s a huge plus. It will help her get her energy out, making your training sessions much easier. In return, she’ll be the most loyal and grateful companion you could ask for.

We know that somewhere out there is the perfect family for Coco – one who will celebrate her progress, support her continued growth, and love her unconditionally. While she may need to be your only fur-baby, she’ll make up for it by giving you enough love and devotion for ten dogs!

Could She Be Your New Best Friend?

This playful pup may just make the perfect addition to your family!

If you’re looking for a dog who will appreciate every bit of love you have to give, Coco might just be your perfect match. She may have started life on a chain, but with the right family, her future holds nothing but possibility. All she needs is someone to take a chance on her and watch her shine.

This sweet girl has so much love to give – could you be the one to give her the forever home she’s been waiting for? If so, please reach out to our friends at Field of Freedom Dog rescue via their website, or their Facebook page!
