Life should be an adventure, shouldn’t it? Just ask Scrappy. He’s a young, playful shepherd mix, and if he could talk, he’d tell you it’s time to have some fun in life! And he should know.

Scrappy came to our friends at the Fields of Freedom Dog Rescue in Lancaster, KY from an overcrowded shelter where he landed on the euthanasia list.

He was moments away from not having the adventure he deserves. Thankfully, the care team knew this sweet bundle of joy deserved a chance at a happy life and to find someone to give him the care and affection he has longed for. First, let’s learn a bit about his personality, social skills, size, and what we know about his breed:

What is Scrappy Like?

We’re glad you asked! Scrappy is known to have a knack for turning the simplest things into grand adventures. Doesn’t that sound like the best kind of friend to have? His goofy antics will keep you smiling and your heart happy.

This playful and curious pup is fantastic with other kids and dogs (and judging by the pics, it seems horses, too)! With boundless energy, he’s ready to love a family who will love him right back!
