Life should be an adventure, shouldn’t it? Just ask Scrappy. He’s a young, playful shepherd mix, and if he could talk, he’d tell you it’s time to have some fun in life! And he should know.

Scrappy came to our friends at the Fields of Freedom Dog Rescue in Lancaster, KY from an overcrowded shelter where he landed on the euthanasia list.

He was moments away from not having the adventure he deserves. Thankfully, the care team knew this sweet bundle of joy deserved a chance at a happy life and to find someone to give him the care and affection he has longed for. First, let’s learn a bit about his personality, social skills, size, and what we know about his breed:

This playful and curious pup is fantastic with other kids and dogs (and judging by the pics, it seems horses, too)! With boundless energy, he’s ready to love a family who will love him right back!
